Ustadha Fatima Lette will be at RCM
Dear RCM Family, Asalaamu alaikum,
It is with a mix of emotions that we share the news that Imam Ibrahim Khader has decided to step down from his role as the Imam of RCM after this Ramadan. Since joining RCM in November of 2021, Imam Ibrahim has been an integral part of our community, serving not only as a trusted source of knowledge but also as a spiritual guide and a cherished friend to many.
During his tenure at RCM, Imam Ibrahim, also known as Imam AbuJawad, has overseen and enriched our religious programming, led RCM's first-ever Umrah trip, provided guidance to numerous families during challenging times, introduced innovative Ramadan activities, and left an indelible mark on the lives of many. We have been fortunate to benefit from his knowledge and to stand beside him in prayer.
We are grateful that Imam Ibrahim will be with us through Ramadan, and we will be working closely with him to ensure a seamless transition in our religious programming following his departure. Rest assured, RCM is committed to finding a qualified, full-time Imam who will continue to meet the religious needs of our community.
As Imam Ibrahim and his family embark on their next chapter in the coming months, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to him and his family. Please join us in expressing our gratitude to Imam Ibrahim, wishing him the very best in his future endeavors, and keeping him in our prayers for continued success. Details of a farewell celebration for Imam Ibrahim will be shared at a later date.
Warm regards,
The RCM Board
