Reminder: 2024 ISAK Elections Nomination Forms Due!
2024 ISAK Elections
Dear Community Member,
As-salamu 'alaykum!
The 2024 ISAK elections will be held on Saturday, December 7, during the General Assembly Meeting at the Islamic Community Center in Cuyahoga Falls, inshAllh. The exact timings for in-person voting will be announced in the coming weeks.
Nominations are being sought for the following positions:
- President
- Finance Director
- Education Director
- Social Activities Director
- Community Welfare Director
- Two BOT Positions (Seven-Year Term)
An updated ISAK membership list has been posted in the community centers lobby. Please check the list for your membership status as it relates to the upcoming elections:
- Active status is required to nominate a candidate and vote;
- An office holder needs to have an active status for a minimum of one year.
Additional guidelines from ISAK Constitution and Bylaws are included in the 2024 Nomination Form.
The 2024 ISAK Election Committee, comprised of Br. Amjad Ally, Br. Moussa Elhallak, and Br. Saad Sanyurah (Chair) is currently soliciting nominations for all open positions.
Active members must use the Nomination Form to submit their selections by Sunday, October 20. Click on the link for more details: 2024 Nomination Form.
