Rely upon the Ultimate Trustee
Learn the meaning of Al Wakil
Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.
In a world brimming with uncertainties and challenges that can envelop us in anxiety and overwhelm, we find a serene refuge in the trust from Al Wakil, the Ultimate Trustee. While it is our duty to take necessary stepstying our camelsour true comfort lies in surrendering our concerns to Allah, who governs all matters with perfect wisdom andmercy.
The Prophet taught us a beautiful reminder of this trust: If you were to rely upon Allah with reliance due to Him, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with empty stomachs and return full" (Tirmidhi 2344). This vivid image reminds us that Allahs provision is constant, encompassing even the smallest of His creatures. If He providesfor them without fail, how much more will He care for us, His creation?
Embracing trust in Allah can be a daunting journey, especially when we cannot see the whole picture. But He reassures us in the Quran, To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs (4:132). With Al Wakil, we are in the hands of the One who never tires, neverfalters, and never overlooks a single detail. He knows what is best for us in every moment.
How beautiful it is to awaken to the truth that even when the world around us may tremble, Allah remains our steadfast anchor, our unwavering support. As Ustadh Meurad gracefully reminds us in his enlightening 99 Names of Allah class, "the one who trusts Allah they will not be disappointed".
