Empowering Your Community through Awareness, Education, and Engagement

Northern Kentucky Inclusive Students's Visit to ICGC

ICGC Tours and Talks hosted Northern Kentucky Inclusive Students In Education (NISE), a non-profit educational initiative specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for College and Career Readiness. The goals for this program include the development of critical skills in thinking, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and the ability to apply and utilize these skills in diverse academic and non-academic situations. A guided tour and discussion about Islam, Muslims, and particularly about the HAJJ experience was provided for their high school summer camp by Shakila Ahmad. They stayed to observe and were quite moved by the congregational Zuhur prayer.

ICGC is a member of the Coalition for Gaza, a new group of interfaith, justice, and peace organizations focusing on Gaza's humanitarian and advocacy efforts. Over 50 cities have adopted ceasefire resolutions, and we are proposing Cincinnati sign one as well.
