We wanted to share some exciting news with you. Thanks to your dedication and support, were reaching an exciting milestone in our journey together with new religious leadership who will enable us to continue to grow and serve with excellence.
May 1st, Imam Abdullah Jaber will officially step into the role of Resident Scholar and Executive Director at RCM! Until then, he will continue serving as our visiting Imam. This transition is a natural next step in the relationship weve built, reflecting the shared vision and commitment that you have helped shape.
As weve gotten to know each other better, it has become clear that Imam Abdullahs
leadership, vision, and dedication align deeply with RCMs mission. We look forward to continuing to grow in our partnership in the months and years ahead, inshaAllah. The RCM Board will be supporting Imam Abdullah as he leads key initiatives like Vision 99, program development, staff growth, and deeper community engagementensuring he
has the resources needed to execute on RCMs strategic plan and objectives.
Beginning March 1st, Ustadh Hassan Faye will assume the new role of Assistant Imam in addition to his role of Youth Director at RCM. Ustadh Hassan will fulfill key responsibilities in Salah Leadership, Musalla Activities, and Youth Programming, deepening our commitment to our Youth and bringing an invigorated approach to our daily worship. We are excited about this opportunity to work together and look forward to the positive impact Ust. Hassans leadership will bring to RCM and the broader
community.
Imam Abdullah Jaber
For nearly a decade, Imam Abdullah served as a resident scholar in the vibrant Muslim communities of Greater Los Angeles and Metro Atlanta. His deep academic foundation includes a Bachelors degree in Arabic and a Masters degree in Islamic Law and Legal
Theory. Additionally, Imam Jaber holds multiple ijazahs in teaching the six canonical collections of hadith and certifications in Quranic tajweed and recitation.
Imam Jabers strengths extend far beyond scholarship. He is a strategic leader,
recognized for his ability to scale and develop communities with a nuanced
understanding of people, culture, and community dynamics. He has over ten years of experience providing premarital counseling, and helping individuals and families build strong, faith-centered relationships. He has extensive experience leading non-profits.
Ustadh Hassan Faye
Ustadh Hassan Faye was born in The Gambia and moved to the United States at the age of 10. He became a Hafidh at the age of 13 at Dar Al Uloom in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 21, he enrolled in the year long intensive Arabic program at Bayyinah Institute where he gained deeper knowledge of the meaning of Quranic verses. He is currently enrolled in a course of study at Qalam Institute. He is now a Hifdh Teacher and youth leader, offering youth counseling throughout local masjids in Atlanta.
Please keep Imam Abdullah, Ust. Hassan, RCM, and our entire community in your duas as we move to the next stages of growth. We are excited for what the future holds!
