The Quran Program at the Memphis Islamic Center is honored to announce the upcoming Quran recitation competition for the blessed month of Ramadan 2025. This competition aims to encourage all Muslims to recite the book of Allah with proper Tajweed and beautiful intonation while showcasing Quranic talents within the Muslim community.
Details of Competition:
Categories:
1- Senior Qari 30 Juz recitation (open to all ages)
2- Junior Qari 10 Juz recitation (10-12 yrs of age)
3- Miniature Qari 5 Juz recitation (7-10 yrs of age)
Competition rules:
- Mastery of recitation
- Proper articulation and pronunciation of letters
- Knowledge of tajweed rules
- Good performance, smooth reading, and a pleasant voice

In order to be a contestant in the final competition one of the
requirements is that you attend the pre-test recital to ensure all the
rules and requirements are met.
