AsSalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Dear Community Members,
Ramadan Mubarak!!
Tawheed Center extends our heartfelt greetings to each one of you. This is a month of immense mercy, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal, a time for reflection, gratitude, and deep connection with Allah (SWT).
Ramadan is not merely about fasting; it is a journey of the soul—a time to purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, and embody the values of patience, compassion, and generosity. It is a month that reminds us of the power of prayer, the beauty of community, and the joy of giving.
As we come together in worship, whether in our homes or at the masjid, let us remember those in need, extending our hands in charity and kindness. Let us seek forgiveness, mend broken relationships, and support one another in our spiritual growth.
This Ramadan, may we strive to draw closer to Allah (SWT), find peace in our hearts, and emerge as better individuals—more mindful, more grateful, and more devoted to our faith.
May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and may this sacred month bring blessings, unity, and tranquility to our families and our community.
We look forward to seeing you at the center for our first night of Taraweeh and
frequently throughout this beautiful month.
Mashallah we are a big and growing community. To accommodate our needs and to ensure a peaceful month we humbly request you to please take note of the following:
1. Parking:
a. We strongly encourage everyone to arrive early (15-20 min early) for Isha and Taraweeh. As Ramadan transitions into the winter months, safety is very important as the cold, snow and slow traffic will consume extra time to drive and walk into the masjid. We have a team of volunteers who will be directing traffic in the parking lot. Please follow their directions.
b. When parking your vehicle please DO NOT DO REVERSE PARKING.
This interrupts the flow of traffic and leads to delays.
c. Utilize our Sister’s Drop-off Zone – Next to Gym
d. Lastly and most importantly-for those who wish to stay for the entire
Taraweeh and plan to pray the full 20 Rakat, please consider parking in
the back parking lot and not along the periphery of the building. For those who are planning to pray 8 Rakat-please arrive early so that you may find a spot along the periphery of the building. Please note that the back parking lot will be double parked on most nights thus making an early exit difficult if you have parked in that area.
2. Brothers and Sisters Prayer Area: To maintain the Sanctity of the prayer space, allow everyone to enjoy the melodious recitation of the Quran by our Imams, and focus on our Ibadah we ask all brothers and sisters to avoid talking in the main prayer hall areas. On the sisters’ side, we have designated classrooms for free babysitting (Children ages 3-8) and for Sisters with young children (ages 10 and under) who wish to have their children with them during prayer. Volunteers will be on site to help direct. We kindly request you to follow their directions.
3. Chai and Food Vendors: Each Friday and Saturday night during the month, we will have on site chai and local food vendors in the social hall. This will be available after 20 Rakat. We encourage all to come and enjoy each other’s company post Taraweeh.
4. Elevator: Unfortunately our Masjid elevator is currently non-operable. We are actively working with the Servicing company to have it fixed. Inshallah it should be done in the next few days. To avoid any inconvenience, we have organized prayer space for sisters who may have difficulty using the stairs in the women’s side of the social hall. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are actively working to rectify the situation.
Lastly-Ramadan Kareem to all of you. May Allah (SWT) accept our Ibadah and Duas during this blessed month. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns.

Ramadan Reflections: Daily Lectures
1.Throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, Imam Wahaaj will be conducting lectures after Asr on the renowned book The Code of Companionship by Shaykh Abdul Wahhab Sha’rani. This insightful book delves into the essential etiquettes of brotherhood and the principles of social life.
2.We will also continue our annual tradition of holding after-Taraweeh talks, where our imams will reflect on and discuss the portion of the Qur'an that was recited during the prayer.
