Ramadan | Message to the Community
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu dear community members,
Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah grant everyone a blessed Ramadan that is filled with light, the Quran and forgiveness.
In this beautiful month of the Quran, I ask everyone to think of the blessings and great reward that we can all achieve through being patient and caring towards each other. We must do our best to be patient when food is served, help clean up a spills when we see them and aid our beloved elders. I urge myself and you to not overlook the blessing in these small acts as we do not know what weighs the most in Allah's scales.
For parents, please remember that Ramadan is a month for your children to also come closer to Allah. We have Taraweeh Camp for ages 5 to 12 and teen talk on Saturdays. Children not in planned activities should be kept close to you. We want everyone to be safe and to do that we need to have our children supervised in the masjid.
Our volunteers and staff will do their best but will not be perfect. If you have a better way of doing things please send suggestions to me at [email protected] . We will take your suggestions and try to improve. But most importantly please be kind to our volunteers and each other.
May Allah allow all of us to become closer to Him and feel closer to each other as a community.
