Asalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

RAMADAN MUBARAK

May this email find everyone in the best of health and Iman as we start the month of Ramadan. Insha'Allah, the first day of Ramadan is Saturday, March 1 and Taraweeh prayers start tonight (Friday night, Feb 28).  Please see information regarding Ramadan below:

  • Fajr prayer is at 6:15am 

  • Isha prayer is at 8:00pm (the Juz for each evening will start during Isha)

  • Taraweeh will start immediately after Isha

  • CHILDREN (ages 3-9) WHO ARE NOT PRAYING MUST GO TO THE BABYSITTING AREA (DOWNSTAIRS IN THE MAIN CLASSROOM). Babysitting opens at 7:45pm. If your child/children are NOT potty trained, then moms must stay in the babysitting room with their child.

  •  We will have 1-2 babysitters per night insha'Allah with fun activities for the children

  • Mothers with infants and small children, there is a new prayer area downstairs so if your child cries or needs extra attention, then prayer in the main halls is not disturbed

  • Nightly iftars in the Ramadan tents sponsored by our wonderful families and community members

  • Junior Khateeb Program: Some of our youth will be giving the Khatirah during Taraweeh

  • We are pleased to have multiple Imams leading the prayers this year

  • Brand new outdoor play area for the little ones (Parents MUST supervise their children at all times)

  • Parking:  There are over 150 parking spaces. Please park in a designated parking spot and not in the NO Parking Zone. Please drive carefully in the parking lot and DO NOT SPEED!

  • Please DONATE generously this Ramadan. The expenses for Ramadan (food supplies, cleaning supplies, water, dates, cleaning personnel, babysitting staff,  electricity and AC, etc) will be over $20,000. Click the DONATE button below.
