Rabi' al Awal Article - "Longing for the Messenger of God ﷺ"

This month's article on the Welcome Home blog is titled, "Longing for the Messenger of God " by Taleef's Director of Education, Dr. Will Caldwell. This article, in honor of the month of Rabi al-Awal, looks at the life of Uwais al-Qarani, a Companion who never met the Prophet , but whom the Prophet knew and loved. Uwais shows us a model of love and devotion to our beloved Prophet that works because of our perceived distance from him."

"Many of us wonder what an authentic connection to God's Messenger should look like today, 1400 years after his mission. Our lives are very different today. Our struggles to live as Muslim look very different today. Therefore it can seem like our ability to know and love him today has diminished.
