The Rope of Allah the Exalted

Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.

What is the Quran to you? Does it sit, perhaps untouched, upon a shelf, waiting for you to open its pages? Or does it live within your heart, guiding your steps and comforting your soul?

The Quran is not just a bookit is the very words of our Creator, mercifully sent as a gift, a guide, and a lifeline.

The Quran is our companion, one that consoles us in our darkest moments, brings clarity in confusion, and strengthens us in faith. It is the Rope of Allah, connecting us to our Lord and guiding us to what is upright andtrue.

Surely this Quran guides to what is most upright, and gives good news to the believerswho do goodthat they will have a mighty reward.

Quran 17:9

On the Day of Judgment, the Quran will even stand as an intercessor for those who held onto it. It will speak for those who cherished it and lived by its teachings, lighting their way to Paradise. The Prophet said: The Quran will say: My Lord,I kept him from sleep during the night, so accept my intercession for him."

Sahih Ahmad 6626

This Jumuah, let us renew our bond with the Quran. Begin with small steps that you can do consistentlysimple actions that, when practiced regularly, become lasting habits. Whether its reciting a short surah after your prayers, reflecting on its meanings, or memorizing a verse each day, every effort brings you closer to the Quran. Over time, these habitswill transform into a powerful bond, making the Quran not just a book you read, but a living companion that guides and comforts you each day.
