Dear Respected Community Members,

On behalf of the IST Majlis-e-Shura, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Br. Mahboob Rana for his dedication and invaluable contributions to the Islamic Society of Tulsa (IST). Over the years, Br. Mahboob has served our community with sincerity, leaving a lasting impact through his tireless efforts.

His strong commitment and leadership have been an inspiration to all of us. As he steps aside from his role, we make dua that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala rewards him abundantly for his service and grants barakah in his life and the lives of his family members. His legacy will remain a source of motivation for us all, inshaAllah.

At the same time, we are pleased to announce and warmly welcome Br. Temour Zaheer Sheikh as the new Operating Council President. Br. Temour is a dedicated young leader, who is passionate to serve our masjid and community. We look forward to working together to continue building a welcoming, and spiritually uplifting environment at the masjid. We encourage everyone in our community to support Br. Temour Sheikh as he steps into this important role. He will officially start on January 1st, 2025, Insha'Allah.

Once again, we thank Br. Mahboob Rana for his exemplary service and welcome Br. Temour Sheikh to the IST leadership team. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide us all to serve His house with sincerity and keep our community united in His cause. Ameen.
