Job Title: Maintenance Executive Committee Member (Volunteer)
Term: One Year (May 1 April 30)

Job Summary:
Volunteer as a Maintenance Executive Committee Member for the Islamic Center of Bloomington. Your role is to identify facility issues, oversee upkeep, manage supplies, lead or delegate tasks, and coordinate with the appropriate parties to arrange inspections and repairs. Major repairs and projects are escalated to the Board of Trustees (BOT). No specialized repair skills are requiredfocus is on effective coordination and problem identification.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular walkthroughs to spot facility concerns.
Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of prayer areas, restrooms, and common spaces.
Manage supply levels
Coordinate with volunteers and sub committees
Contact the appropriate professionals to arrange inspections and repairs when needed
Escalate significant issues to the BOT.

Qualifications:
Observant and proactive in identifying problems.
Organized with clear communication skills.
Able to lead, delegate, and work independently.
