Pillars of Peace:

Beds Available at the Noora House

salaam alaykum,

I hope you and your families are doing well insh'Allah.

As many of you are aware, Pillars of Peaces initiative Noora House, has sought to address an important need within the Muslim community, offering a place where dignity, safety, and care are prioritized.

And as we are approaching the winter and colder weather, I am pleased to share that Noora House currently has beds available for women and children seeking refuge from domestic and gender-based violence. Noora House provides a safe, supportive space where survivors can stay temporarily, up to 90 days, and access halal food options as they begin their journey of healing and empowerment.

We are able to accommodate single women and families of up to three members (e.g., one head of household and two children). Our goal is to provide a confidential, nurturing environment that empowers clients to rebuild their lives and pursue justice in a life free from harm.

Referrals are now open and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we reach full capacity, we will temporarily close referrals until space becomes available again. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response to referrals, which will be reviewed Monday through Friday, between 9 AM and 2 PM.

If you know someone who could benefit from our services, please complete the referral form below:

We encourage you to share this information with anyone who may benefit from the resources we offer. To learn more about our services or to donate, please visit pillarsofpeace.org.

Thank you for your continued support and compassion. Together, let us strive to be the difference makers our community so desperately needs.

Regards,

Faiyaz Jaffer
