Here are some important updates:

  • Jummah timings are 12:30PM, 1:30PM, & 2:30PM. 
  • Updated Hours of Operation: Nueces is open from Fajr to midnight everyday. 

Imam Anwer's Office Hours

During Ramadan Imam Anwer will be following a modified schedule and will have walk in office hours in the evening.

Ramadan At Nueces

Nueces will be providing iftar daily after Maghrib Prayer all throughout Ramadan. Taraweeh will be 20 rakats plus witr each night and will begin after Isha prayer (which is 9 PM). Everyone is welcome to join us! Learn more about Ramadan at Nueces below!

Deepen your connection with the Quran this Ramadan; strengthen your recitation with tajweed; and join your fellow brothers and sisters for the sake of Allah (swt).

The Brothers meet on Wednesdays at 5:40PM and the sisters meet on Sundays at 12PM. 

Tafsir of Surah Yusuf

Join us Monday nights at Nueces Mosque after Taraweeh for 30-minute sessions to delve deeper into the beautiful lessons and themes of Surah Yusuf with Ustadha Reem!

Suhoor & Qiyam!

Join us next Thursday for a TNL Ramadan special: UT x A&M collab! Well be joined by Imam Anwer and Imam Mahad to discuss capitalizing on the last 10 night of Ramadan and overcoming post-Ramadan slumps.

Whether this is your first time back at Nueces after graduation or you are a Nueces regular, we would love to have you.

Austin's Ramadan Quran Competition

We will be hosting the 2nd annual Ramadan Qur'an competition. The competition will be similar to our most recent Fall event, where we will have 2 rounds (including the finale). 

The first round will take place at the Islamic Center of Greater Austin on March 23rd inshaAllah, with registration starting at 11:15am sharp. 

The finale will take place the next day, March 24th at the North Austin Muslim Community Center after the dhuhr salah.
