Here are some important updates:

  • In adopting the methodology of the Hanafi School for the start of Salt al-Asr, we will be offering a slightly later time for the adhn and iqmah for Salt al-Asr. It ensures the timing of the prayer encompasses all of the relied-upon positions regarding the 'Asr prayer timing and thereby the congregation is valid for everyone.

Deen Intensive

Texas Deen Intensive (DI) is a weekend-long, intimate educational Islamic conference at the University of Texas at Austin, hosted by the Texas Muslim Student Association (MSA) and Nueces Mosque.

Established in 2007 by Texas MSA, Deen Intensive continues to grow each year with people of all backgrounds benefitting from spiritual growth. Attendees have the chance to listen to world-renowned scholars, speakers, and Imams discuss important issues impacting our communities.
