HAPPENING THIS FRIDAY
Join us for a powerful evening of film, prayer, and conversation as we host a screening of the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land at the Islamic Center of Southern California. This important event is co-hosted by our partners at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and Latino Muslim Unity, bringing together diverse communities to stand for truth and justice.
No Other Land courageously exposes the harsh realities of occupation in Masafer Yatta, Palestine. Despite winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary, Palestinian filmmakers Basil Adra and Hamdan Ballal continue to face censorship and blacklisting, limiting the films reach. This screening is part of a growing grassroots movement to ensure this story is heard.
