Why Your Attendance Matters
This is an opportunity for our members to stay informed, engaged, and involved in shaping our community center here at MCA 1.0 and MCA 3.0. Expect to interact with the Executive Board, Board of Trustees, and Granada Islamic School Board, who will present their vision, goals, annual reports and updates.
Your participation ensures that your voice is heard and that key decisions reflect our community needs.
If the 10% quorum requirement is not met, the Joint Session of the Boards will still deliberate on agenda items that are to be voted on, except those requiring a special majority vote as is stated in the MCA Constitution.

Letter From the President
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh Dear Community Members,
It is an honor to serve as your President. Alhamdulillah, with Allahs mercy and your support, this past year has been one of progress, unity, and service. Im deeply grateful to our board members, volunteers, and dedicated staff for their tireless efforts.
Our Vision
MCA continues to grow as a welcoming, inclusive, and spiritually enriching space for all. My focus remains on empowering youth, strengthening families, and expanding our outreach and education initiatives.
Highlights of 2024

Community Engagement: Launched monthly Coffee Chats for open dialogue and enhanced our communications via a dedicated media team.

Youth & Education: Revamped youth programming and weekend school curriculum. Strengthened mentorship, networking, and Islamic identity-building activities.

Women & Seniors: Expanded programs through the Womens and Senior Sunshine Committees, including the successful Al-Noor Neighborhood initiative.

Support Services: Strengthened our outreach to new Muslims and partnered with Khalil Center to provide mental health and counseling support.

Operational Improvements: Initiated efforts to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and bring professionalism through structured management and accountability.

Strategic Planning: Began development of MCAs 5-year and 25-year strategic vision to align growth, resources, and long-term sustainability.
MCA 3.0 Expansion: Building Our Future**.** We are actively expanding MCA to ensure it remains a vibrant center for learning, worship, and unity for generations to come. Construction is well underway on new facilities, including classrooms, a women's gym, a free medical clinic, multi-purpose sports arena, and more, all dedicated to serving our future.
