Dear Community Members,

As we step into 2025, WNYMuslims extends heartfelt wishes for a New Year filled with joy, prosperity, and blessings. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and involvement in our mission to serve, unite, and empower our community.

This past year, together, we achieved remarkable milestones, from hosting impactful events like the WNY Health Fair to celebrating our rich cultural heritage during Pakistans Independence Day parade. Your participation and dedication made it all possible.

As we welcome this new chapter, let us continue to strive for excellence, embrace diversity, and foster unity. With your support, we aim to make 2025 a year of even greater service, collaboration, and community impact.

May this year bring you and your loved ones peace, good health, and success.

Warm regards,
The WNYMuslims Team

Buffalo, NY - Friday, December 6, 2024:
WNYMuslims, in collaboration with Desi Versa, hosted the third annual Shaukat Khanum Fundraising Gala at Falcon Heights, Williamsville, in support of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. The event brought together community members to advance a shared mission of hope, healing, and compassion.

The evening featured inspiring speeches, including remarks by Dr. Zeshma, Mr. Faizan Haq, and Dr. Riffat Sadiq, MD, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in the fight against cancer. A soulful Tilawat by Hashim Elahi, an engaging presentation by Dr. Nabeela K. Patail, and a compelling slideshow by Dr. Yousef Aasim highlighted the hospitals transformative mission.

Guests participated in a silent auction, enjoyed a delectable dinner catered by Apna Dera, and were captivated by electrifying performances from artists Malkoo and Sara Altaf.

The event was made possible by the generous support of sponsors, including Falcon Heights, Hawk Development, Sun Spin Media, and Manage Your Business (MYB).

This successful gala showcased the power of unity, compassion, and collective action, leaving a lasting impact on the fight against cancer.
