On the enchanting evening of Friday, December 6, 2024, Falcon Heights, located at 8600 Transit Road in Buffalo, New York, became the heart of compassion and community. The venue hosted a memorable and impactful Fundraising Gala Dinner in support of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Organized by WNY Muslims, the event brought together leaders, professionals, and empathetic individuals who shared a profound mission: to make a lasting difference in the fight against cancer.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Zeshma, whose eloquent introduction set the tone for a night of unity and purpose. A soulful Tilawat by Hashim Ealhi followed, filling the room with a spiritual ambiance that inspired reflection and gratitude.

Dr. Nabeela K. Patail then took the stage, captivating the audience with her compelling discussion on the critical importance of cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment. This impactful presentation transitioned seamlessly into an engaging and visually dynamic slideshow by Dr. Yousef Aasim, who shed further light on the hospitals mission and the transformative power of the cause.

The program continued with heartfelt speeches by Mr. Faizan Haq & Dr. Riffat Sadaq. They shared powerful messages about the profound role of community solidarity and generosity in transforming lives. Their words resonated deeply, reminding everyone present of the tangible impact that collective action can achieve.

Adding an interactive element to the evening, a silent auction invited attendees to bid on unique items while contributing directly to the cause. Every donation raised was dedicated to advancing the development of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, ensuring world-class cancer care for those who need it most.

Guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner catered by Apna Dera, whose delectable flavors delighted the senses and provided a perfect backdrop for conversations and camaraderie. The evening reached its crescendo with an electrifying musical performance by the renowned artists Malkoo and Sara Altaf. Their artistry and energy left the audience enthralled, rounding off the event with entertainment and inspiration.

This unforgettable evening was made possible thanks to the invaluable support of our sponsors and partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Falcon Heights for generously providing the perfect venue for the event, Apna Dera for the exceptional dining experience, Hawk Development for their dedicated facilitation, Sun Spin Media for professional media coverage, and Manage Your Business (MYB) for their unwavering support.
