As-salmu Alaykum Wa-ramatu Llhi Wa-Baraktuhu

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah SWT be upon you

Dear MCA Community,

Over the past several weeks, we have been reviewing heavy traffic patterns at our center during Jumuah (Friday) prayers. We are now at the point where even our designated areas for overflow parking are no longer sufficient to safely accommodate everyone attending two Jumuah (Friday) prayer services.

As a result, effective November 15, 2024, MCA will be transitioning to THREE Jumuah (Friday) prayer services.

The Athan/Khutba start times will be as follows: 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm

Please note that in order to allow sufficient time for entry and exit between prayers, the khutba length will be reduced to 20 minutes with 5 minutes for Salah (prayer). This means that Jumuah will average 25 minutes from the start of the Khutba to the end of salah. Please plan accordingly. For those planning to attend the last prayer, please note that you must exit the MCA parking lot by 3pm to allow for safe pickup of MIA students at the end of the school day.

We would like to thank you all for your patience as we transition to this new Jumuah prayer schedule. Any questions can be addressed to [email protected] or [email protected].

May Allah SWT accept our prayers.

Sincerely,

MCA Ann Arbor
