Dear NBIC Community,

As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to once again welcome this sacred time into our lives. On behalf of the NBIC board, we extend our warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes for a Ramadan filled with blessings, reflection, and spiritual growth.

Ramadan is a time of deep spiritual significance for Muslims worldwide. It is a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection, during which we seek to strengthen our connection with Allah and strive for self-improvement. It is a time for us to cultivate empathy, compassion, and generosity towards others, especially those in need.

In light of the ongoing challenges we face as a global community, this Ramadan holds even greater significance. As we continue to navigate the uncertainties brought forth to our ummah, let us use this month as an opportunity to come together in solidarity and support for one another. Let us remember those who are struggling and extend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the true spirit of Ramadan.

It is also a reminder to embody what is stated in Surah Al-Imran, Chapter 3, Verse 110 of the Quran: “You are the best nation brought out to mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong." We believe that the Muslim community, through adherence to Islamic principles and values, is meant to serve as an example to humanity. We have been chosen to exemplify the virtues of piety, justice, compassion, truth, and righteousness in the world. We have a duty to promote goodness and virtue while actively opposing injustice, oppression, and immorality.

As we embark on this spiritual journey, may Allah shower His blessings upon us and grant us the strength and perseverance to make the most of this sacred month. May He give us the opportunity to uphold high moral standards and to actively strive for the betterment of society by promoting righteousness and deterring evil. May our fasting purify our hearts and minds, and may our prayers be a source of comfort and guidance. May this Ramadan be a time of renewal and rejuvenation for our souls, and may it bring us closer to our Creator and to one another.

On behalf of the NBIC board, we wish you and your families a blessed Ramadan filled with peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment. May this month be a source of blessings and inspiration for us all.

Ramadan Mubarak!
