Neighborhood Connections

Please note that Neighborhood Connections are non-ICA Events. They are sent as a courtesy, and do not necessarily reflect the ideas, beliefs, or support of the ICA.

Notes:

1. The QR code on the brochure goes to the state's website which provides a myriad of information related to voting as well as connects to the area that allows voters to track their Absentee Voter ballot. This is important information for those voters who want to make sure that their ballot reaches the clerk's office and is counted. (I put my phone camera up to the flyer on my computer and was able to access the site.)

2. Voters on the permanent Absentee Voter list will automatically receive an Absentee Ballot. If a voter is not going to be at the address on their Permanent AV listing, they must contact the City CLerk's office to provide a temporary address.

3. Finally, people who want to work elections are always welcome. They just need to apply to become an Election Inspector to do so. This also requires attendance at a training session prior to any election. Official challengers/observers are generally appointed through a political party and training is provided by that party.
