Belief, Patience and Activism with Sami Hamdi
Insha Allah, we will be hosting world renowned journalist Sami Hamdi at Fishers' Banquet Hall and MYCP for a fundraiser to support MAS Youth.
Sami Hamdi is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Interest. He is an experienced geopolitical risk consultant and has extensive experience in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, having been a television reporter and talk-show host for over 10 years.

Taraweeh Time: 8:45 PM

Ramadan at MYCP
Insha Allah, the blessed month of Ramadan is upon us. We will have Taraweeh prayers, community Iftars, Teen Iftars, Quran Reading and Memorization circles, Itikaf and Qiyam ul Layl during the holy month. Please join us with your family and friends as we seek Allah's pleasure and blessings during the entire month of Ramadan.
Taraweeh Prayer
Join MYCP for daily Isha followed by congregational Taraweeh prayer, during which we will complete a full recitation of the Holy Quran over the course of Ramadan! The Taraweeh prayer will be led by Shaykh Shahid and Hafidh Ahmed Chaudhry. Imam Basheer will do short Khatiras during the Taraweeh.

Community Iftars
Join us as we bring both the MYCP and ICCWG communities together with a weekly community iftar at Fisher's Banquet Hall, InshaAllah! We will gather on Sundays in Ramadan. $10 donation at the door. All proceeds go to the Masjid.

Teen Iftars
Calling all youth ages 14 and up to our Teen Iftar in Ramadan! The program will begin with a discussion at 6:30 p.m. followed by Maghrib prayers and have Iftar together! There will one Teen Iftar at each center Insha Allah!

We have more than fifteen iftars planned for this Ramadan across both centers. Please help us make these iftars happen by sponsoring or cooking for one of the events! Whether you can donate or volunteer to cook, your support is greatly appreciated!

2024 MYCP Itikāf Signup
Insha Allah, the Muslim Youth Center of Philadelphia will be open to for the Sunnah of Itikāf in the last 10 days of Ramadan. Signup is required and this is only for ages 18 and up Only! Please go through MSDV Itikaf policy document and then fill out this form and a staff member will reach out to you.
Ramadan pause
Imam Basheer's weekly lectures and halaqas at MYCP will be paused during the month of Ramadan and will resume after Eid ul Fitr, Insha Allah
Ramadan House Rules
Both MYCP and ICCWG will have thousands of visits per week in Ramadan. We would like your experience to be safe and enjoyable. We would like to foster an environment that promotes spiritual growth and fraternity. We ask that you respect (1) each other, (2) the house of Allah, and (3) our neighbors by following the guidelines laid down by the leadership. Jazakallah u Khair.
