Zakat ul-Fitr
Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitrana or Sadaqa-ul-Fitr) is a compulsory act of charity that all Muslims must pay at the end of Ramadan. The purpose of this payment is to actย as a purification of the fasting from useless and obscene talk andย allow those in poverty to take part in Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
Zakat-ul-Fitr amount this year is $15 per person.
