Khutbah at 1pm

Jumuah Mubarak to our dearbrothers and sisters!

Join us as we rediscover the beautiful pearls of wisdoms from our Ramadan programming in our Jumuah emails starting with Ustadh Tariq's Softening the Heart and implement its lessons in our lives.

Would you count yourself as among the blessed?

Hidaya (guidance) is agift:

Blessed is the one who is guided to Islam, whose livelihood is enough and he is content.

Tirmidhi 2349

Ustadh Tariq urges us to deeply reflect on this blessing. Why? Because it illuminates the overwhelming mercy of Allah the Exalted upon us. Guidance is not bestowed upon everyone.

The reality is that He has chosen goodness for you.

Not the transient pleasures of this world with all its allurements, but the eternal goodness of theHereafter.

In this world, one may attain all its riches, yet without guidance, they are truly lost. As succinctly put by Ustadh, "this life is but a pitstop," and everlasting goodness awaits

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him said,

"Allah said, 'I have prepared for My righteous slaves (such excellent things) as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.' "

Bukhari 7498

Remember that "whoever Allah guides, none can leadastray" (Qur'an 39:37). Alhamdulillah, what a tremendous blessing!

And if one has a roof over the head, food to eat, clothing on their back - all from the generosity of Allah the Exalted-, what more does one truly need?

Watch the rest of this heart softener on Youtube below to reflect upon the blessings in your life.May it condition our hearts to become more in awe and in mindfulness of Allah the Exalted.
