Quest for Meaning is Tomorrow
Jumuah Mubarak to our dearbrothers and sisters!
Join us as we rediscover the beautiful pearls of wisdoms from our Ramadan programming in our Jumuah emails starting with Ustadh Tariq's Softening the Heart and implement its lessons in our lives.
Ustadh tells us of how "there is no greater love than His".
That when Allah lovesus, it is a divine embrace that reverberates throughout the heavens and the earth. He calls upon Angel Jibril to love us, and then the other angels and those on Earth do so as well [Bukhari and Muslim].
What more could we possibly need when we are enveloped in the love of the Everlasting? When all other love is simply a manifestation of His? When the reality is that our very existence is for Hispurpose?
What other love would one need but His? This is why we are urged to seek it.
One can use the following dua (supplication) that Ustadh speaks upon:
"O Allah grant me Your love and the love of those whose love willbenefit me with You. O Allah, whatever you have provided me of that which I love, then make it strength for me for that which You love. O Allah, and what you have kept from me of that which I love, then make it for me a period of rest in that which You love. (Allhummarzuqn ubbuka, wa ubba man yanfa`un ubbuh `indak. Allhumma m razaqtan mimm uibbu faj`alhu quwwatan l fm tuibb. Allhumma wa m zawaita `ann mimm uibbu faj`alhu farghan l fmtuibb)."

Ustadh Tariq eloquently reminds us that "if He's with you then who can be against you?"
Watch the rest of this heart softener on Youtube below to learn about loving Allahthe Exalted and how that love should also extend to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. May it condition our hearts to become more in awe and in mindfulness of Allah the Exalted.
