Rajab is sacred
With the sighting of the crescent moon on Friday night, the sacred month of Rajab has commenced. This month is one of four sacred months of the year as glorified in the Quran.
Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke of the exalted status of Rajab, declaring it as the month of Allah, a month adorned with His boundless forgiveness.
Reflect for a moment. Allah, the Most Forgiving, whose mercy spans higher than the heavens and deeper than the oceans, awaits us with open arms, ready to forgive sins of any magnitude. No sin is too vast, no mistaketoo grave that it cannot be embraced by His mercy.
Even if you find yourself repenting and slipping back into old habits, remember this profound truth:Â
"Allah will not tire of forgiveness unless you are tired of asking."Â
al-Mujam al-Awsat 8918
