Heart Softeners
Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.
How swiftly do you embrace the profound lessons youencounter?
Whether drawn from the deep wells of the Qur'an's teachings, the timeless guidance of the Sunnah, or the inspiring narratives of the righteous Companions (Sahabah), how quickly we take these lessons to our heart serves as a sincere reflection of your faith (iman) and devotion to Allah the Exalted.
Reflect on theSahabah, who, despite facing financial struggles, were quick to extend charity without hesitation.
Why did they give when they themselves were in need?
Because they had firm conviction in Allah the Exalted's promise:
"Spend in charity, O son of Adam, and I will spend on you."
Bukhari and Muslim
Ustadh Tariq shares a poignant hadith portraying a dialogue between believers and the Most Merciful on the Day of Judgment:
Allah the Exalted: Do you wish to meet me?
The Believers: Yes
Allah the Exalted: Why?
The Believers: We hope for Your forgiveness and pardon.
Allah the Exalted:My forgiveness is mandatory for you.
This should be an encouragement to all of us to "strive and be of the outstrippers" as mentioned by Ustadh Tariq.
What are some things that you can do starting today to seek His countenance andpleasure?
Because, the "foremost in faith will be the foremost in Paradise" and the nearest to Allah the Exalted (Surah Waqiah). May Allah the Exalted make us from among them. Ameen.

Give on this blessed Jumuah
Be the reason for someone's hope and conviction in Islam.
Did you know in 2023we provided 81 classes for free?
That's a value of over $4,000 to students who wished to pursue knowledge without any financial hardship.
Please consider donating to M.E.C.C.A. so that we may continue to provide authentic knowledgeof Islam to all who humbly and sincerely seek it, to those who are isolated and have to hide their new faith from others, and to those who don't have the right support and resources to turn to.
No amount is ever too little as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, urges us to give to prevent calamity even if it was half a date.
Let your gift of charity bless you with the best in this life and the next. Ameen.
