Ramadan 2024

Alhamdulillah! With the arrival of Maghrib tonight, Sha'ban has ended and the eagerly anticipated month we've been praying for has finally graced us with its presence. What anincredible blessing to witness yet another Ramadan.

We humbly urge you to give charity to welcome this tremendous month of abundance and divine rewards from the Almighty.

Your generosity, regardless of size, will help us continue spreading the light of Islam far and wide.

Our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, reminds us to "give charity without delay__, for it stands in the way ofcalamity." (Tirmidhi)

May the Most Merciful shower blessings and manifold rewards upon you for your noble contribution to His cause and may He grant us tawfiq in fundraising for our critical mission. Ameen.

Say, O Prophet, Surely it is my Lord Who gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills of His servants. And whatever you spend in charity, He willcompensate you for it. For He is the Best Provider__.

Quran 34:39

Give to welcome the most blessed of months

Remember to make the intention to fast

From the work of Jordanian scholar of Shafii fiqh, Shaykh Amjad Rasheed

The intention is to intend to fast. Its location is in the heart, but it is sunna to say it with the tongue. It is obligatory to repeat the intention to fast for every day of Ramadan and to make the intention during any part of the night (from sunset until just before dawn)

One optimally says, I intend to fast tomorrow as a current performance of the obligation of this years Ramadan for Allah Most High.

A practical way to avoid forgetting the intention is to intend to fast the following day immediately after breaking ones fast at sunset.

Watch the recording from our Ramadan Prep Workshop as Ustadh Tariq explains the intention in detail.
