Gems from the Beautiful Names of Allah

Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.

To the merciful rain that quenches your thirst, to the very ground beneath your feetthat offers steadfast support and refuge, to the radiant sun whose warmth nurtures life and growth each element serves as a poignant reminder of Allah the Exalted's omnipresence.

In every direction your gaze wanders, it finds a beacon leading to His eternal existence.

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night, there are signs for people of reason." 

Qur'an 3:190

As Ustadh Tariq eloquently elucidates, Allah directs His servants to His creations, so they may bear witness to His essence. The entirety of the universe serves as a compass guiding us towards Him.

The Quran consistently implores us to contemplate deeply upon all aspects of creation, including our own selves.

When hunger strikes, our stomachs rumble, signaling the need to eat. In sickness, our immune systems rally to combat illness. In injury, our bodies diligently work to heal wounds. These innate mechanisms require no conscious effort on our part, yet we not only survive but we thrive.

These divine blessings bestowed by the Almighty are nudges urging us to reach the inevitableconclusion La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah).

Our awareness of this should naturally foster remembrance of Allah in every facet of our lives. Our interactions with the world should be steeped in dhikr (remembrance).

Consider the trees that envelop us, generouslyproviding the oxygen we breathe. As we inhale their gift, we should utter SubhanAllah and ponder how it is through Allah's grace alone that we enjoy this privilege.

Similarly, in our interactions with others, our actions should be guided by the desire to please Allah. 

In shaa Allah, this dedication to remembrance will elevateus to the ranks of the beloved friends of Allah (awliyah). They worship Allah as if He is present. 

Nothing remains in their hearts except love, knowledge and glorification of Him. Everything else is erased and their physical bodies only act according to what the Exalted wants. 

"When I love him, I amhis hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks." 

Hadith Qudsi

This steadfastness epitomizes true iman (faith). As Ustadh Tariq aptly articulates: "It matters not what I see, what others say. I believe in Allah.Period. My faith is unshakeable."

May Allah, the Most Merciful, count us among those whom He guides and among the truly righteous. Ameen.
