Sincerity and Intention

Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.

On this final Jumuah of Ramadan, many of us may feel that we haven't met our worship goals or that our efforts have fallen short.

Prophet Muhammad () taught us,"Verily, deeds are only with intentions__, and every person will have only what they intended."

Bukhari and Muslim

It's not about how long wewere able to stay up late in worship, the length of pages that we recited of the Quran, the number of times we did dhikr, how much we gave in charity, and so on.

The quantity of good deeds is not what truly matters but rather Allah the Most Merciful looks at the sincerity of our intentions.

Even if our worshipseems limited or imperfect, our sincere efforts are not in vain. Allah the All Knowing sees our struggles, our intentions, and our sincere desire to draw closer to Him. As long as we strive with sincerity and devotion, our efforts are rewarded, and our intentions set with sincerity are more beloved to Allah than merequantity.

Renew your intentions and strive for sincerity in these remaining blessed days - whether it's an extra moment spent in prayer, a sincere supplication whispered in the quiet of the night, or a kind gesture extended to those in need.

Make these final days of Ramadan the best days of Ramadan.

May Allah accept our sincere efforts, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us the salvation before we leave this blessed month. Ameen.
