Join tomorrow for khutbah
Eid Mubarak to our beloved brothers and sisters!
May Allah the Exalted accept from us and you. May He free our Ummah from oppression and envelop us in joy, in ease, and in His mercy.
Some Sunnahs for Eid
Keep your tongue moist with the glorified remembrance of Allah on these blessed days. It is recommended to make the takbir after every prayer from Fajr today until Asr on the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, which will be on Thursday, June 20.
You can refer to this Twitter/X post by Muwasala that has the Eid takbirs in Arabic and in English translation andtransliteration for you to recite and fill your day with barakah (goodness).
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would perform ghusl (ritual bath) before leaving for the Eid prayer. This is recommended as well for those who are not attending.
He also reminded us to wear our best clothes on the blessed day ofEid and return through a different route from the Eid prayer than the one to it (Bukhari 986).
Eid Khutbah Tomorrow
Join us as we celebrate Eid al Adha with a special khutbah (sermon) with Ustadh Tariq Ameer in shaa Allah.
