Ramadan 2024
As we find ourselves halfway through this blessed month alhamdulillah, it's natural to experience moments of fatigue or just not having the same high enthusiasm compared to the initial days of Ramadan. You might feel a sense of inadequacy or evenstagnation in your worship.
Remember, it's perfectly human to feel this way.
Ramadan, with its transformative blessings and unparalleled rewards, is an annual gift from Allah. And the good news? It's not over yet!
As Ibn Rajab beautifully said,
"O Servants of Allah! Ramadn is ending, and very little of it remains: whoever from you spent it well should finish it the same way; and whoever is falling behind should finish it in the best manner, for the reward of actions are determined bytheir ending."
To help rejuvenate you, here are four actionable tips:
 Renew Your IntentionsÂ
Take a moment to introspect and reaffirmyour intentions for this blessed month. Seek Allah's guidance and blessings to enhance your efforts. Reminding yourself of your purpose before every act of worship can rekindle your focus and enthusiasm.
 Prioritize Suhur Â
While the temptation to sleep through Suhur (pre-dawn meal) might be strong, rememberits significance. Recognize that this act is blessed by Allah the Exalted and cherished by His angels.Â
 Support a Fasting Person Â
Emulate the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) by providing sustenance to those fasting. Offering even a simple meal like a date and water can earn you similar rewards as the fasting individual (Ibn Majah).
 Engage in Charity Â
Seek salvation and blessings by engaging in Sadaqa (voluntary charity) this Ramadan. Remember the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) words: "Save yourself from hellfire by giving even half a date-fruit in charity." [Bukhari]Â

Tip: Don't focus so much onthe goal but more so on the mindset/identity that you want to have. Example, instead of "I want to read Qur'an daily" try approaching it with "I want to become a Muslim who holds the Qur'an in their heart and tongue".
May Allah accept our efforts, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us the strength to make the most of the remaining days of Ramadan. Ameen.
