2024 Copy of Current Bylaw and Amendments. Voting Process Feb 23rd.
Asalaamu Alaykum,
In preparation for the Bylaw Amendment vote next week Feb 23rd, we have attached a copy of the Current Bylaw and Proposed Amendments.
These have been posted at the Masjid Social Hall since Jan 26, 2024.
Ballots and Voting Booth will be at the Masjid during Friday Lesson on Feb 23rd.
XV- AMENDMENTS TO BY-LAWS
This will be possible at a designated meeting. The amendment must be presented in written form at a weekly educational meeting at least 3 weeks prior to voting date. A quorum of 2/3 of voting members and a 2/3 majority vote will be necessary to adopt the amendment. If 2/3 quorum is not met, then 1/2 quorum with 2/3 majority will suffice at the next weekly educational meeting.
