Ramadan Mubarak! Starts From Monday, March 11, 2024
We are pleased to share the news of starting the month of Ramadan. The report of confirmed moon sightings has been received from Haramain (Makkah and Madina) and Egypt as well. This means that Ramadhan will start on Monday, March 11, 2024. In Sha Allah!
May Allh accept our siym, qiym & acts of worship. May Allah grant us the ability to utilize every precious moment of the blessed month of Ramadan to engage in that which pleases Him. Ramadan Kareem to all of you.
Taraweeh starts today, Sunday, March 10th Insha'Allah, at 8:30 PM.

- Short Hadith after Fajr
- Short Taraweeh Tafseer after Isha by Imaam Jawad

- Guest speakers on Mon, Thu and Sat Sheikh Arshad, Imaam Ali & Omar Shallan
- Daily Iftar
- Babysitting on Fri, Sat & Sun for first 8 rakaat for 5-8 year olds
- Itekaaf, Qiyam-ul-Layl, Suhoor for last 10 nights
Weekend Programs
- Saturday after Dhuhr, Lessons from Ramadan by Imam Jawad
- Saturday and Sunday Halaqa from Fajr to Ishraq
- Saturday and Sunday Sister program from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Select Surahs (Urdu)
- Saturday Ramadan Weekly Series from 11:30 - 1:00 PM, Welcome Ramadan and Journey through the Quran - for kids aged 5-11
- Weekly prizes for kids aged 6-10 who fast for the first time
Iftar (Sponsorship is open)
InshaAllah, MCNJ will have community Iftars seven days a week during Ramadan. MCNJ will arrange for these meals with community sponsorship.

Iftar Weekday Sponsorship: $1300
Iftar Weekend Sponsorship: $2600
Iftar Partial Sponsorship: $100 (or any amount)
Parking
- The parking at MCNJ will be reserved for older and women on a first come, first served basis.
- Musallees praying 8 rakats of Taraweeh, please park at lots other than MCNJ.
- Please see the attached parking map below
- Note: Please do not park in 7-Eleven parking and Funeral home parking
Zakah & Fitra
- Please remember to pay your Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitranah) as early as possible. Fitranah is a minimum of $15 (per person), but you are encouraged to give more if you can afford it. If you would like MCNJ to serve as your Wakil in distributing your Fitranah, please pay it early, as we will distribute the food 5 days prior to the end of Ramadan.
