Assalam Alaikum,
Hadith narrated by Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger ( ) said, "There is a (compulsory) Sadaqa (charity) to be given for every joint of the human body (as a sign of gratitude to Allah) everyday the sun rises. To judge justly between two persons is regarded as Sadaqa, and to help a man concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his luggage on to it, is also regarded as Sadaqa, and (saying) a good word is also Sadaqa, and every step taken on one's way to offer the compulsory prayer (in the mosque) is also Sadaqa and to remove a harmful thing from the way is also Sadaqa".
-Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Sh. Hasib Noor is the Founder, President, and teaches with The Legacy Institute. He is among the founders of Faith. Global, a global Muslim platform for creating community spaces that provides welcoming spaces for connecting with relevant Islam & practical spirituality. He studied at the College of Islamic Law in the University of Madinah and pursued his studies in the City of Madinah for over a decade under the tutelage of over 50 scholars specializing in Fiqh, Fatwa, Hadith, Tafsir, History, Sirah, and the Islamic Sciences. He has affiliation with the Center for Historical Studies of Madinah, and is part of Taybah Research, The Society of Archaeology and Historical Sites of Madinah and serves as an Educational Consultant & Resident Scholar.
