Please Support MCC this Ramadan
As we have entered the last ten blessed nights of Ramadan, we ask for your du'as and support so that we can continue to serve our beloved community.
This Ramadan, we have been able to offer various spiritually enriching programs, just like in previous years. Our programs have brought together our community for daily Taraweeh prayers, community and youth Iftars, spiritual Qiyams, and much more. Alhamdulillah, we achieved this with the generous donations we received.
Today, we humbly request your continued support by donating to MCC's Operations Fund. This Fund allows us to offer programs and services that set MCC apart not only in the Bay Area but across the United States.
To those who would like to fulfill the pledges that they made during Imam Tahir's visit on Friday night, these blessed nights are a great time to fulfill your pledges. Your generous contributions make a world of difference!
May your sadaqah be your shade on the Day of Resurrection.

Gently Ramadan Reminders
- Zakat: Invest in local community. Donate to replenish this critical fund, which has helped more than 500 East Bay families since last Ramadan.
- Operations: Let's revive our Masjid. Donate to support the needs of our growing community by offering more programs, helping maintain and keep our center running, and paying staff salaries.
- Zakat-ul-Fitr: Donate $12/person now so we can distribute this mandatory payment before Eid to each member of your household (regardless of age) given to the needy in our community so they can enjoy Eid.
- Toy Drive: We're collecting about 650 toys for local zakat-eligible families so their parents can give their children a gift on Eid morning. Join us in bringing joy this Eid to them.
- Friday Prayers: Please be mindful of the parking congestion at our weekly Jumu'ah services. Please do not park in any neighboring business or lots, as it negatively impacts the relationship with our neighbors.
Post-Taraweeh Prayer Guidelines
Starting this week, MCC is implementing new guidelines. No youth under the age of twenty-one will be allowed to stay overnight at MCC, except under these circumstances:
- The youth is enrolled in a specific program, such as a Youth Qiyaam or one hosted by MCC for the whole community. If no adults are present during these programs, the youth is not allowed to stay by themselves or with friends past the Taraweeh prayers (11:15 p.m.).
- If a youth wants to worship overnight in the facility, a parent must stay with them all night.
- Parents will be called if MCC staff finds youth at the facility without an adult present or if no MCC events are in progress after the daily Taraweeh prayers.
