Assalamu Alaikum Dear MCC Community,
Since last Ramadan, more than 1,000 families have turned to MCC for financial help.
Some of these families are people you see daily in our community, praying next to you at Jumu'ah each Friday.
Many have recently arrived as refugees and face the daunting task of starting their lives from scratch with dwindling support from government services.
We ask you today to donate your Zakat to MCC and join us in bettering the lives of those in need in our community.
Last year alone, MCC made significant strides in providing vital assistance to those facing various challenges. Here are some key statistics from our community services:
We distributed nearly 100 cars to individuals and families in need, offering them transportation to improve their lives.
MCC covered rent for almost 1,000 families, ensuring they had a roof over their heads and stability.
Every month, we provide food assistance to 350 families, ensuring they access nutritious meals, diapers, and halal meat.
In partnership with SRVIC, we conduct about four monthly apartment setups for refugee families, offering them a safe and welcoming environment as they rebuild their lives.
We recently hired a caseworker dedicated to assisting individuals and families in finding employment and securing low-income housing. While operational funds cover the salary of the caseworker, their work is an integral part of our community services.
MCC's services are more crucial than ever. As other organizations reach capacity, MCC remains committed to supporting those without government assistance and needing our help.
