This Ramadan, we're bursting with activities! We cannot wait to tell you about it.
Shortly after Maghrib this Sunday, watch for an official announcement about the start of Ramadan with all the links and details to our Ramadan programming that will allow you and your family to find faith in your community.

This year, during Ramadan, MCC will host more than 65 Iftars & Suhoors (parallel community dinners daily) and provide Iftar every night after Maghrib and suhoor at least 1-2 times a week and in the last ten nights. Iftars range from $600 to $6,000 covering food, water, supplies, security, cleaning, and suhoor.

Stargazing for Ramadan Moon

Join us in the MCC parking lot at sunset and join in the excitement when, insha'Allah, the new crescent moon (hilal) ushers in the holy month of Ramadan.
We'll have two Halal food trucks (523 Southern Halal BBQ & Halal Bites of Chicago) in the MCC parking lot at 6 p.m., so come early with your family to grab a yummy dinner.
We will also have high-visibility telescopes in the parking lot to see planets and constellations.
Pre-Ramadan Children Storytime

For Children Ages 5 to 10: Join us for a read-aloud for children to learn the significance of Ramadan and how to make it the best Ramadan ever insha'Allah!

Daily Singles Iftar

For our single brothers and sisters, please join us each night in Ramadan 24 for an Iftar dinner to break your fast in the community. On Saturdays, singles dinner joins community-wide Iftar. *Registration opens at noon on Saturdays*
Al Ghazali Series for Children

For children ages 5 to 12: Childrens Author Aisha Gray Henry, the charismatic founder of the Ghazalis Children Project, talks to our children about the timeless teachings of Al-Ghazali in this four-part Ramadan workshop series.

For our middle and high school girls & boys (ages 12 to 18), please join us the first three Fridays in Ramadan for a program just for you: pray Asr in the congregation, have a halaqa before a yummy Iftar dinner, and games & trivia before Taraweeh. Registration opens at 5 p.m. on Mondays.

Taraweeh Babysitting on Weekends

For parents with children who would like to attend Taraweeh prayers, we provide babysitting on the weekends for ages 2 to 11. The children will create beautiful Ramadan crafts, play games, & listen to stories. RSVP required.

This Ramadan, MCC humbly asks you to invest your Zakat with us so we can positively affect more Bay Area families this year.
