  • Zia Choudhury (Pleasanton): His mother, Sakiya Choudhury, passed away on Sunday in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • Saadia Rauf (Dublin): Her father, Sajjad Toor, is in ICU with a severe lung infection in Lahore, Pakistan.  
  • Heather Watkins (San Ramon): Her brother-in-law, Joe Dowell, is in the ICU with Respiratory Syncytial Virus and a blood clot in his lung.
  • Saber Frikha (Oakland): He is suffering from pancreatitis.

This Case Manager will provide housing navigation, benefits enrollment, and non-clinical case management services to sheltered individuals and those at imminent risk of experiencing homelessness in and around the East Bay Area.

Cars Needed for East Bay Muslim Families

The MCC Car Program has now donated over 250 vehicles donated to needy Muslim families in the Bay Area. 

We currently have 50 families on our waitlist. 

Families needing a vehicle include single mothers with young children, newly arrived refugee families, families with special needs children in wheelchairs, and victims of domestic violence.

We take working vehicles in any condition, and with a little TLC from our awesome volunteer mechanic team, gift your vehicle to a deserving family.

Let us know if you have a car in good condition or needing minor repairs.
