  • Shamim Bashir (Pleasanton): Her friend, Nighat Zaka, passed away last Thursday in Sacramento.
  • Najib Azhar (Pleasanton): His mother, Suraiya Azhar, passed away last Monday in Durham, North Carolina.
  • Mohammad Hanif (Pleasanton): His wife, Seema Hanif, had colon surgery.
  • Akhtar Iqbal (Pleasanton): His father, Iqbal Ahmed Siddiqui, is suffering from a chest infection and low blood pressure.
  • Tuba Mertayak (Fremont): She is suffering from an undiagnosed disease, which is causing her bleeding and pain.

We are pleased to announce Sister Nadia Ann as MCCs case manager.

Sister Nadia will focus on meeting the needs of local families dealing with homelessness, unemployment, domestic violence, and housing insecurities.

The Muslim Vote '24

There are about 250,000 Muslims in the Bay Area. This years elections are a critical opportunity to push for justice. Masjids & Muslim organizations across the Bay Area have united to urge our members & congregation to vote.

The registration deadline for the '24 primary elections is Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Cars Needed for East Bay Muslim Families

The MCC Car Program has now donated over 275 vehicles donated to needy Muslim families in the Bay Area. 

We currently have 75 families on our waitlist. 

Families needing a vehicle include single mothers with young children, newly arrived refugee families, families with special needs children in wheelchairs, and victims of domestic violence.

We take working vehicles in any condition, and with a little TLC from our awesome volunteer mechanic team, gift your vehicle to a deserving family.

Let us know if you have a car in good condition or needing minor repairs.
