High School Boys Halaqa

For Boys Ages 14-18 Only! Tomorrow, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., join us for our first of the three Friday Night High School Boys Halaqa sessions led by Br. Muhammed Constantino.

These nightly sessions will delve into beginner-level deen topics and develop prophetic character, followed by open discussion on topics/issues that teenage boys currently face.

Gain practical insights on how to spiritually prepare & equip ourselves for Ramadan and how to maximize the most out of this blessed month.

  • Bilal Yusuf (Walnut Creek): His grandfather, Yusuf Ibrahim, passed away last month in Indiana.
  • Amnah Ibrahim (Fremont): Her father-in-law, Saber Jafar, is suffering from leukemia. 
  • Arya Ghaus (Antioch): Her grandfather, Mohammad Qaseem Panjsheri, is on life support from pneumonia. 
  • Afnan Zarief (Dublin): Her mother, Moinara Azmeri, is suffering from cancer.
  • Nagela Halimi (Hayward): Her friend, Abbas Alidina, shattered his femur bone.
  • Tariq Sekander (San Ramon): His mother, Zafriyah Etamadi, is unable to walk.

Last Friday, MCC had the honor of hosting Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang for an evening workshop on the demonstration of Islamic calligraphy. Twenty-seven folks from all over the state attended the workshop.

The Muslim Vote '24

There are about 250,000 Muslims in the Bay Area. This years elections are a critical opportunity to push for justice. Masjids & Muslim organizations across the Bay Area have united to urge our members & congregation to vote.

The registration deadline for the '24 primary elections is Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Cars Needed for East Bay Muslim Families

The MCC Car Program has now donated over 275 vehicles donated to needy Muslim families in the Bay Area. 

We currently have 75 families on our waitlist. 

Families needing a vehicle include single mothers with young children, newly arrived refugee families, families with special needs children in wheelchairs, and victims of domestic violence.

We take working vehicles in any condition, and with a little TLC from our awesome volunteer mechanic team, gift your vehicle to a deserving family.

Let us know if you have a car in good condition or needing minor repairs.
