We will have high-powered telescopes and food trucks starting at 6 p.m.

We will send you an email announcement at about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday announcing the start of Ramadan:

  • If the moon is sighted, the first night of Taraweeh is after Isha (9 p.m.) on Sunday, March 10. The first day of fasting is Monday, March 11.
  • If the moon is not sighted, the first night of Taraweeh is Monday, March 11. The first day of fasting is Tuesday, March 12.

This year, we aim to make Ramadan a better experience for our community members. Please stay tuned for more information about our programs through our Ramadan Special Newsletter, and feel free to visit Ramadan page.

Ramadan Iftar Sponsorship 2024

MCC Hosts Daily Iftars Feeding Thousands

With this month of generosity, we are given many opportunities to unite the community and perform good deeds for the sake of Allah. One easy way to do that is to provide food for those who fast.

The Prophet () said: "Whoever gives someone something to break the fast with, he would have the same blessings as the fasting person, and this would not reduce the blessings of the fasting person in any way." [Ahmad and Tirmidhi]

This year, during Ramadan, MCC will host more than 65 Iftars & Suhoors (parallel community dinners daily) and provide Iftar every night after Maghrib and suhoor at least 1-2 times a week and in the last ten nights. Iftars range from $600 to $6,000 covering food, water, supplies, security, cleaning, and suhoor.
