The Lost Shepherd: Parent & Child Workshop

For Parents & Children (Ages 7-16): This Friday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., join parenting coach Fouzia Usman (founder of Muslim Nation Builders) to learn how to work together to create a nurturing, balanced environment that bridges the gap between Deen and Dunya in everyday life

Please note that this is a parent-and-me workshop. Parents are required to attend with their children.

This workshop will be live-streamed and not recorded. We highly recommend that you attend in person. Dinner boxes for sale starting at 6 p.m.

Alhamdulliah, our community has outgrown the Dublin Library space! Our weekly offsite service (1:40 p.m.) has moved permanently to Rosewood Center in Pleasanton (a 5-minute drive from our main location).

Our weekly parallel off-site Jumu'ah is now permanently held at Rosewood Conference Center. Attending this service will help ease parking congestion at MCC.   • Ahmed Umair (San Ramon): His uncle, Sardar Hassan Kamran Asif, suffered from a stroke last week in Pakistan.

On Sunday, MCC hosted its Seventh Annual Eid al-Adha Bazaar. The Bazaar offered a delightful array of modest clothing, exotic fragrances, intricate Islamic art, stunning Henna designs, delicious food, and much more.

Qurbani/Udhiya for East Bay Needy Families

During the Eid al-Adha holiday, MCC East Bay accepts Qurbani meat cut in stew size and placed in clear plastic bags. MCC will distribute amongst the 250+ Zakat-eligible families that our Food Pantry serves.

Please drop it off anytime on until Friday, June 28. No staff person needs to be on-site to accept the meat.

Drop-off Days & Times:

Wednesdays & Thursdays - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fridays - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During these hours, please come directly to the MCC kitchen and leave the bagged meat in the MCC kitchen freezer (glass refrigerator/metal freezer). If you are not familiar with the facility, here is the facility map: HTTP://mcceastbay.org/facility-map

June Summer Camp

Kids & Youth Islamic Summer Camp

For Boys & Girls Ages 5-16: Join former professional basketball player Indira Kaljo over three weeks this month for a kid's camp that will strengthen your childs Deen through play, education, arts, and physical activities. 

We will have the Names of Allah series, outdoor games, a nature activity, arts and crafts, sports, snacks, and more!

Survey for Support Group for Family Caregivers @ MCC

To increase awareness and programming for aging Muslims, the Caregiver Support team plans to start a monthly support group for family caregivers of older adults at MCC East Bay in the Fall of '24.

The team would like to gauge interest before they can plan these meetings. Please fill out the survey here.

Anyone who is a caretaker for an aging family member (60+) is welcome to fill out the survey.

After-School Qur'an Classes

Registration is now open

MCC's Qur'an program accommodates learners from beginner to Hifz and restarts this Fall, both in-person and online. Classes start Sept. 3, 2024.

The MCC Quran program team works hard each day to bring you Quran classes taught by professional educators in order to bring the Book of Allah into your life, as well as into the lives of your children.

After-School Arabic Classes

Registration is now open

For Children Ages 5 to 12: Enrollment for our after-school Arabic classes is now open for Fall '24 beginning this September.

This after-school program teaches kids to use Arabic effectively for reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation.

Registration is first come, first served. Returning parents receive priority for this popular program.
