Dear MCA Community,
This is an incredibly important time for MCA Ann Arbor. Our community is growing exponentially. We need to expand our services and programs to meet the needs of today while planning for the future. Given the increasing day-to-day demands of our center, we are delighted to announce that Br. Khaled Felwa has joined us as our new Executive Director, effective as of July 1st, 2024.
Br. Khaled brings extensive experience in operations management and a deep commitment to serving our community. With a proven track record in managing diverse teams and projects, Br. Khaled is well-prepared to help us achieve our goals and enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community center

Managing staff and volunteers to ensure efficient service delivery

Coordinating events, programs, and activities to serve the community

Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Liaising with community members to address their needs and concerns

Working closely with our Executive team, Board of Trustees, respected Imam, and our school, the Michigan Islamic Academy.
