Dhul Hijjah - the Holy Month of Hajj - is Here Alhamdullilah!
In accordance with the Fiqh Council of North America inshallah, the holy month of hajj has begun. As a result, Youm Arafah will be on Saturday June 15th and Eid Al-Adha will be on Sunday June 16th inshallah . Eid Prayer Times will be at 7am, 9am, 11am with the takbeerat 1/2 hour before.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that, There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days. [Bukhari]. About the day of Arafah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us that, Fasting the day of Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one. [Muslim]
May we all make the most of this sacred month of Dhul Hijjah and these 10 blessed Days. Please plan to fast this Saturday and RSVP to join us on the Day of Arafat for a Community Iftar.

We will have a table in the lobby across from the MCA bookstore and in between the prayer halls this Friday at 8:45 pm after maghreb . A board member will be present to listen to your suggestions and concerns, and convey them to the Board. Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your duaas, support, and participation in our community.

What: Its the custom of MCA to host the Community Iftar on the Day of Arafah.
Please register and lets break the fast together as a family!
Registration is required for Iftar as there is going to be limited food order.
