April 11 Zakah Update
Please consider contributing to the Zakah fund at the MCA. Under the current team, our Zakah Committee has shown exceptional efficiency and compassion, successfully distributing all collected funds within the year for the past two consecutive years. In just the last year alone, we have issued over 1,000 checks, directly supporting initiatives like rental assistance, social services, meal provisions, support for the elderly, care for the terminally ill, aid for single mothers, and assistance for refugees, among others. Furthermore, we provide ongoing monthly support to those in dire need. Our committed team ensures the responsible allocation of every donation, with each application being thoroughly vetted to meet the highest standards of stewardship. Community support is needed to continue aiding these families and many others facing similar challenges. See Zakat Committee's due diligence process here. Please donate to make a difference.

How To Sell - Empowerment Project - Empowerment Project
When: Sunday, May 19th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
What: The Essential Selling Skills workshop focuses on the skills needed to sell effectively in today's business environment, such as varying your selling style for different customers and highlighting value rather than price. Participants will learn how to sell more effectively to current customers, win new business at prospective accounts, and how to sell themselves during the interview process. These workshops are open to both brothers and sisters.

Quranic Arabic Class for New Muslims
For New Muslims Only! The objective of this class is to prepare you to read and understand AL-Quran in the Arabic language.
When: Sundays at 9 a.m-10 a.m (New Students Arrive 8:00 a.m)
What: This is an opportunity For New Muslims to learn the Arabic Alphabet, Arabic Vowels, Quranic Words, Arabic Sentence Structure, Basic Arabic Grammar, Ability to create basic Arabic Sentences, Start to read and understand the Quran in the Arabic Language, Perform your daily Salah properly and with understanding, and how to read very basic Arabic childrens books! This class is for New Muslims only.
