We have a special evening planned with inspirational talks from our esteemed guest speakers, Ustadh Ubaydullah Evans and Imam Fuad Mohamed, performances by our youth, updates from the board and a delicious dinner with the community. Childcare will be available.

Ubaydullah Evans - Keynote Speaker
Ustadh Ubaydullah Evans is ALIM’s first Scholar-in-Residence. He has studied at Chicagoland’s Institute of Islamic Education (IIE), in Tarim, Yemen, and Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, where he is the first African-American to graduate from its Shari’a program. Ustadh Ubaydullah also instructs with the Ta’leef Collective and the Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) at times.
Imam Fuad Mohamed - Fundraiser Speaker
Imam Fuad, MAS Bay Area's Resident Scholar, began his journey with his local imam, later studying at al-Azhar in Egypt. Returning to Seattle, he served as an Imam and lecturer, establishing learning centers for all ages. With over 50 Ijazahs in various Islamic Sciences, he's currently pursuing a master's in Usul Fiqh & Fiqh. A graduate of the University of Washington, he holds a double major in Community Psychology and Educational Studies, with a minor in Policy Studies.
