Job Summary
Reporting to the Imam, this role oversees and directs the curriculum's planning, organizing, and implementation for our Quran programs, teachers, and students. Responsible for instructing students of different ages and backgrounds. Creates lesson plans and instructs students in Arabic, English, Qur'an, and Islamic Studies. Creates a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program. Delivers required
curriculum with an Islamic perspective while integrating Islamic morals and values.
Responsibilities
- Implement Quran program levels and curriculum and maintain updates and changes in collaboration with Imam (Sh. Adam) and main Qari (Sh. Aslam)
- Interview and hire Quran teachers under the supervision of the Imam.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities.
- Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
- Employs a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing students, including demonstrations, discussions, and practice.
- Help teachers set and fulfill short and long-term goals to create a safe and inclusive environment.
- Observe classes and provide constructive feedback on teaching techniques and program management skills.
- Schedule 1:1 meetings with each teacher as needed and provide individualized classroom management strategies to improve student engagement, behavior, and overall quality of education.
- Oversee communication with parents, including communicating the learning plan as well as progress.
- Organize and execute professional development workshops for educators
- Ensure teachers have access to books, stationery, and other relevant resources.
Candidate Qualifications

Holds a college degree or equivalent experience.

Sound knowledge and implementation of the rules of Tajweed

Experience in teaching Arabic, Qur'an, and Islamic Studies in a classroom setting

A degree in Arabic or Islamic Studies is preferred.
